In Flood

A trip to Rabbit Island to get Pine needles as a mulch for the blueberries. The theory is that the pine needles turn the soil acidic, which blueberries like, it also helps keep the weeds down and helps the soil retain moisture in dry times. 
At Rabbit Island a leisure park, the once open ground and barbeque area is now a lake and is likely to stay that way till summer. We have had a couple of find days, but a wet weather warning for the next three days well be keeping people busy clearing drains and slips on roads.
