We started by clearing some furniture in the study to make room for the new beds. The kitchen designer arrived a bit later for a lengthy and helpful initial visit to advise on kitchen design. I think she’ll have some really good ideas- pricey though! After that we went to the dump and the fishmonger’s- dressed crab for lunch and mackerel for supper. Took this photo on the harbour. Also called in to Aldi and Asda.
Managed to find some book festival events that weren’t full and that we wanted to go to so booked those and then unpacked some more boxes in the study, managing to find homes for most things. Finished in time for the trundle bed to be delivered (disassembled) , but they were easy to assemble. The units for D’s sitting room, and the new desk, came after that. We then had time to cook and eat dinner - grilled mackerel with new potatoes and salad and rhubarb betty and cream - delicious. Couldn’t get the sound bar to work- had to phone A for tech support.
