On our way

To Art Tots – her second last trip there as it’s a fortnightly thing, Isla is going on hols at the end of July, and the wee one will be starting school in the middle of August. How time has flown. Grandad must be getting very old. 


A genuinely warm day: 25ºC in the shade in the back garden. After our usual circuit of ents we came back to the house to play and she helped make some strawberry jam. Not our own strawberries, though she did get to eat one of those later. And she chummed me along to GoOutdoors as that’s where the Amazon lockers are. That’s a wonderful thing. No more staying in for deliveries.
But then time for me not to stay in either. The 22 bus to a warm bar serving cool drinks. Rog, McC, MrT and myself, joined later by Jeff Bezos, just back from Venice we presumed. But then we realised it was actually MrW back from a graduation event thing where he was wearing his white bow tie and gounie. How similar they look from afar. Those lockers are great, Jeff.
