Distant poppies

I noticed a patch of red out of the corner of my eye the other day so went to investigate.  The poppies were out of reach in a field I couldn't get to (legally!) so I just took a few distant shots.  This mum and not-so-baby lamb were trotting down the road ahead of me and at this point they had just moved away from a natural spring where they'd been having a long, cool drink -  very sensible in this heat.
