Tweed

Slept very soundly after yesterday's excitement (still have to back blip yesterday once I've sorted through the photos), and after breakfast June walked me to the bus stop as it's handily sited beside her local post office. Trusty 73 bus back to King's Cross then a Lumo train to Edinburgh. It was packed solid, 400 people in 5 carriages. It's the 'budget' train line - they won't take any large luggage, so no vast suitcases (and I've realised they wouldn't take my guitar) - saw a man get turned away at KGX because he had a large bag of golf clubs. I was on the wrong side of the train for the usual seascapes etc, so just snapped this as we went across the Tweed.

Texted D from Waverley with the suggestion that we meet in the Carriers for a cooling pint - so we did! Then a delicious chicken Caesar salad that D had made, watched a MASH episode, and an early night.
