Memories
In this weather we all need a little extra watering and some extra tlc.
I heard they are re living Live Aid this weekend on the radio as it's the 40 th anniversary or something. I picked up sketchy details about it.
Having stood in the crowd on that fateful day at Wembley Stadium I still remeber what a fateful day it was. It was a summer of love day, getting burned by the sun seeing some awesome bands and getting'high'.
Status Quo were fab as always as we're Queen but David Bowie singing'Rebel Rebel' and 'Heroes' was a moment in time. The Who, Elvis Costello and U2 took my friends and I to some cheese and onion sandwiches lovingly packed by Paul's mum. I have a great memory of falling in just with a girl in the crowd from Cardiff near the end to Paul McCartney singing'Let It Be' but alas I lost her number in the crush of the crowds afterwards.
Moving on today's Blip is about a thirsty plant and getting the Canon out its bag after a long time of in activity. Watch this space!
In the meantime here's some David Coverdale and Love is Blind https://youtu.be/QFjPLwdY0fQ?si=UXGpjz2fXUlVITOD
