Early morning…
on the Head, before visitors arrive. Lovely, peaceful, apart from the odd dispute amongst birds, see extra. There were Puffins, Fulmar, Guillemots all clearly visible. Later, walking up old road to Wartime fortifications was delighted to hear and see five Arctic Skua! Down at coronation Meadows there was a splendid carpet of wildflowers including Grass of Parnassus, Thyme, Ragged Robin, Yellow Rattle, Eyebright and many more. At the harbour found yesterdays Swallows had flown the nest! What a day!
