Final Beach Selfie

Going home day. We forewent an early swim as we didn’t think stuff would dry in time. Slow packing to be out at 10.

Breakfast at a beachfront cafe that was ok. Then a mooch around the market and finally a drink in a bar with rugby until it was time to set off for the airport.

The kids wanted a McDonald’s but after waiting almost 45 minutes we gave up and requested a refund. Which was given without quibble - obviously a common problem. A long delay at passport control for Smallest and I as he’s under 18 but we made it to the gate with time to spare.

We then had the chaos of ordering via the app to our seats - they’d run out if sandwiches, didn’t understand the order, blah blah blah. The food came, it was ok.

Off the plane and onto a bus to the hire car place - by now I was struggling with painful blocked ears - flying with a bad cold is not a good plan - so MrRoly drove us back. Home by 10 and I was in bed by quarter past. At least there was less drama than on the way out!!
