Droplets

Well, I wasn't expecting the heat today. 
Sure, it was sunny and warm enough but it just seemed to keep getting hotter and hotter and... I begin to wonder how on earth I ever coped back in 2010 when I spent 9 months living in Bangkok!

Well, it is forecast to be even hotter tomorrow, and Saturday is looking like a 30 degrees Celsius scorcher! I may have to get the fan out of the cupboard.

Poor British weather, it never can win. I complain when it's gloomy; I moan when it's cold; and I whine when it's hot.

Hmm. Perhaps I just like moaning.

This wee fella had the benefit of both shade and having a good old soaking earlier on. A few droplets left to cool it down.

Despite all my complaining, I had a lovely day today. Yes, it got a bit too warm for me, but mostly I was in fine form and was inspired to buy some salad. Haven't had a nice salad for a long time, and as I think about making it I hear my tummy agreeing that it's a good idea.
