Lazy day - Theo in thoughtful mood!

Hot start to the day!  We intended lazing in the morning and beaching later in day but ended up with the younger kids being happy to stay put.  Laura, Amelie and Hayley have gone to Salema for a drink and to pick up pizzas.  We’re meant to be playing pickle tomorrow at 8 am so relatively sober and early night called for.  I’m re listening to John Banville’s  ‘Snow’.  I’d forgotten how much I enjoyed his exquisite writing.
