Pink Shorts & Blue Bucket
Another gorgeous day - just right at around 21C, gentle breeze and wall to wall sunshine. We took our swim in the late afternoon as the families started to pack up their encampments. A young girl in pink shorts lingered, still enraptured by the sea and intent on filling her blue bucket with mysterious things.
A little boy sat waist deep in the water and threw stones-
How far was that? he asked each time,
20 feet, 6ft, 100ft, replied his father.
Are we going now?
No, we might go to the pub.
Are we going to blue one?
No, the Tin Pub, it's sort of black .
Do they do ice creams?
No.
Well think I might have crisps and a coke
We were quite tempted ourselves.
