Since we were talking about the cost of campsites I checked our booking to see what our four nights in Aviemore had cost to find that our four nights were three so we weren't going home on Friday. We were leaving today. So we did and tootled down the A9 in the heat, emptied what needed to be emptied from the van and hid in the house for the afternoon. 

Apart from taking a wee run to the shop to pick up the papers and hunt down number three of the six post boxes in the village. This one has no royal symbols at all. An anonymous royal mail plaque and two googly eyes. I don't think the eyes are official. 

Other than that I had an argument with an AI bot about dogs eating apple cores.
