Down In The Ox-Eyes

There were a pair of these American goldfinch chasing around the top prairie. They were fast. Fortunately one stopped for a while, chirping away, in amongst a patch of ox-eye.

I might be getting fussy now, or maybe discerning. If I get the chance, I actually try to get light on the bird's face and catch them in the best pose possible, hopefully doing something active.
