Hoping for coolness

I went back to the water garden today. It’s only 4 miles away and I was hoping it would feel cooler, but it didn’t! There’s just no breeze at all. I liked the repeating pattern these leaves make in the water.

I have two active nests on the walls of my house, one at the front and one at the back. I’ve been trying to get photos, but the parent birds are too quick for me. I think they are house sparrows.
