Brian's Bits

Couldn't Resist.

Could you?  One of my, oft repeated, Mantras  -  "I'm not proud' I'll talk to anybody".
There was a Blipmeet at Wellington Farm, Near Cockermouth.  And, as we were in West Cumbria there was a better than even chance these folks were local.  As it happens they were - very; two from Workington, and one of their Dads from Maryport and Alice was a Maryport lass so the Crack wasn't bad.
A close second for the Title was - "Go on - Giz a chip Marra."  Marra = local vernacular for "friend".
The weedling, apparently, was successful; he got his Chip(s).  However - yet again I had to teach the evil Spill Chucker another word; as in "NO! I do NOT mean Weeding."  "Learn the meaning and usage of the verb 'weedling', which means to persuade or obtain something by coaxing or flattery."
