Oh the heat is building! Considering it is to get even hotter over the next couple of days!
I managed to cycle up to the college this morning.  I met up with my ex line manager for a coffee.  It was lovely to catch up and it confirmed to me again that I made the right decision to retire!
In the afternoon I pottered about in the house and waited until after dinner to take Max out for a walk.  Whilst walking along the river I  noticed that the rowan trees are laden with red fruit.
It was wonderful sitting outside the front of the house in the evening sunshine reading a book. Bluss!
