His Mind's Eye

A long and very hot drive down to Bristol to visit family. We stopped for lunch in Stratford and had a look at Shakespeare's New Place, the site of his family home for 19 years. The gardens with wonderful Shakespeare inspired sculptures are rather lovely, and I was quite taken with this bronze hawthorn tree. The Mind's Eye tree represents Shakespeare's influence spreading over the world.
