Scorchio!

Another 30°C day.

After a mainly quiet admin type of morning we decided late afternoon to do our woodyard walk, one we haven't done for a while. It was still very hot, OK in the shade, but too hot really in the direct sunshine. I tried to do a few ICMs of pylons and trees with Abstract Thursday in mind, but didn't like any of them. Luckily I'd got this one in reserve, taken just before we set off.

We've had loads of 'nuisance' phone calls today. I'm wondering if something we have done recently has passed our phone number on to the scammers out there.

We've had loads of wasps too.

Rain, eh. I did an hour's watering this evening, using the sprinkler. I wonder if/when we will have a hosepipe ban.
