What a Day!

Road opened late last night. Not long after we got in it was closed again. PC went down. No land train so two coaches and three minibuses had to be escorted through security bollards. Landline went down. 
If we wanted to get out at all today we needed to join an escorted convoy again. One was at 2:30 and one at 5:30. I did not want 5:30, so went with the team at 2:30, just as the police closed the M20 as well as the A20. It’s a good thing I remembered the cross country route, in the opposite direction because the satnav was totally discombobulated! I hit three sets of road works, and two level crossings as trains went through, but all in all it could have been worse! A20 still closed, but M20 open so hoping I don’t have to do the circuitous route in tomorrow.
