I cancelled my planned 5K walk with T It was 25 degrees at 9 when we were going to start!!!
After a full on DIY morning which was sooo hard as neither of us slept well in this heat. I went to lunch with my LWL friends. It was great to catch up and share news. Sadly not always good. E whose husband died at Christmas has now heard her best friend from school had a heart attack and died 2 days ago. J’s mum has dementia and she trying hard to support her but it’s such a difficult situation. I then called in on my friend H who has bowel cancer. She looks very weak.
This evening I phoned my Golden Girl friend C…her health news although worrying is better than expected. Her son is on a scary road with possibly a liver transplant in the future but for now he was told to concentrate on his wedding in 4 days time
