The Little Man and Lightning McQueen

The grandparents (me and Lisa) and Beckett's parents (Jeff and Heather) are all waiting for Beckett to want to watch the movie Cars. He does pretty good with 1/2 hour shows, but the animated movie runs for one hour and 56 minutes. I told him tonight that it was one of my favorites, but I don't think that will matter.

We were the transport for sister Terrie today as she got her second eye done this afternoon. Cataract surgery. She did well and even treated us to lunch afterwards at Famous Dave's BBQ.

We bought a 4.99 rotisserie chicken at Costco on Tuesday, and the progression goes like this:
Day 1. The chicken with mashed taters and carrots.
Day 2. Broccoli cheese soup with chicken.
Day 3. Lisa's famous chicken pot pie. Delicious.

Maybe one more use on the morrow with chicken sandwiches, and then...THAT'S ENOUGH!
