Poor Mom

What a day, Mom had a very early morning doctor appointment for a yearly checkup.  One errand after that, then I brought them back home late morning.  I was only home about half an hour and I get a call that she had fallen.  By the time I arrived emergency personnel were there.  She was taken to the hospital by ambulance with a large amount of blood coming from a cut on her forehead.  She is on blood thinner medication so she had to have a scan of her head then other places due to the fall.  She has a broken arm, lucky no surgery is needed.  Her fall detection sos bracelet was on the kitchen table and both of their fall detection necklaces were hanging in the kitchen.  Somehow she got to the phone and called 911.  Difficult times ahead.
