Ladybugs
A lunchtime swim with Marion
The water was like a mirror when we arrived and I was quickly off. Marion chatted with someone she knew for a bit but she was soon catching me up, squealing as she encountered a jelly fish.
Marion was up thr steps first and I was about to join her when a second swarm of bugs arrived. She returned to the water and we waited for them to pass. Several decided to hang around on anything yellow.
Later I saw some cricket on tv that had a similar problem.
They are seemingly thriving this year as a result of the warm weather and decline in predators.
