On Schedule

Back on blip track after messing up yesterday’s! The VPN is working, here’s hoping it stays that way.
KLM came through for us and our luggage appeared on the carousel like manna from heaven! We’d then a fast cross-city trip in what felt like a bullet underground train then caught a real bullet train to Nanjing (the picture is of trains running On Schedule!) where Sally met us, ensconced us in a University Campus hotel and left us to recover! A long journey but worth it.
Just back from dinner with Sally and Wan. I’d forgotten how the Chinese like to fatten up their guests. Stuffed and then some with fabulous food. Chrysanthemum soup was a first as was stir-fried Chinese gourd.
