Escape

Excited today. Few jobs and a half day of work to get through before the wee ones were dropped off with my parents and I headed South for the annual weekend away at a friend’s place in Surrey.

The drive was event-free and podcast filled as I arrived around 9.15pm to settle in with a couple of drinks and a catchup.

The intense heat of the day had receded and it was just nice and cool.
