A Combine Harvester Header

Another early walk today (06:00) in the cooler air..I did walk through the woods which was extremely pleasant. A few dog walkers had the same idea, which was good to see.

I passed by a wheat field where harvesting has begun…some parts have been ‘shaved’ and the lines of straw left behind (see extra). This header had been left - presumably awaiting the return of the machine to complete the job.

Managed to cut our grass/weed/moss patches..the mower still works. Garden waste collection tomorrow…it’s been 8 weeks since I last put it out, but it is still barely half full…very stinky though!!
