Layering

The sweet peas have reached the tops of their eight foot canes so today I've had to untie them all, lay them along the ground and then retie them several canes further along the rows. Its hot fiddly work and inevitably I broke the stems on a couple. The temperature was 33.5 degrees in the shade..... but I wasn't in the shade.
