Shady

I had planned to cut the grass this afternoon having been thwarted yesterday by intermittent showers. However the high temperatures put paid to that.   Instead I have divided my time between reading outside and working at my computer indoors.  A gin and tonic may feature in the not too distant future.

I started the day with a swim followed by coffee at the Dam Cafe. Both were as enjoyable as ever. I was chatting to a visitor from Edinburgh who was also learning Gaelic and we exchanged a few words anns a' Ghaidhlig. 

Back home I hung up my swimming stuff and then headed over to the theatre for coffee number 2 with ArcLight, Alfthomas,  NeatwithIce and her husband W, who broke their journey from Edinburgh to Tain. It was lovely to sitting chatting for an hour or so.
