Kayaking

My friend KG gave me my first lesson in kayaking on the lake. An hour spent learning how to maneuver the paddles and trying to stay moving forward in a relative straight line.

Lucky for us it was a cloudy morning so the heat was bearable. We had a few laughs at my lack of finesse in getting out of the kayak after we get back to shore. I might have done better if I hadn’t been laughing so hard!

We might do another hour next Tuesday after we walk our miles. If it is not blazing hot.
