Hot

Very hot today - not the weather for working on a roof, but needs must. They are making a good job of the roof, but our neighbour is counting all the sunshine hours his solar panels are missing!

I have hidden inside in the cool, but I did make a cake. I am not a cake baking person - too many things can go wrong I think. And anyway we rarely eat cake. I make biscuits, flapjack, shortbread . . . but not cakes. Then we have visitors arriving tomorrow . . . !
