Cub And Copper

I heard the distinctive sound of this aircraft as it flew over this morning in the direction of North Weald. I grabbed the camera, fumbled with the settings and got a mediocre image. It returned after lunch and I bettered my shot. I think it's a North American Piper PA-18 Cub. I photographed a pair of Cubs once before but I think they were a different variant.

Delighted to spot and capture a small copper butterfly in the front garden this afternoon. Never seen one here before. Hope it stays so that I can try and get a pic of it with its lovely orange wings open. (Extras)
