Progress..

On my 80 year old book cover. The extra photos show the pressed flowers I added to the original cover as I didn’t want to hide it,and the little tag on the front shows the year it belonged to somebody. , I think… 1941
I’ve left the inside cover as it has the hand written title, Nad

.. On the River Neimnem , the author and the stamp that states it belonged to the Polish School Society in Birmingham.
In the fifties and early sixties I went every Saturday morning to the Polish School in Birmjngham.Lessons were all in Polish, plus dance.
It’s been a day of far too much heat!
It’s made my vision very blurry, my brain disorientated and me irritable!
There's also been sadness at the news that a young boy drowned in one of the lakes in the park.
The incident happened last night and now as I write our road is sealed off from the main road as there is someone on the railway bridge, and trains have stopped.. such sadness .
It’s been a heavy day.
I’ve wanted to do so much but the heat has just made it very hard.
