A trip to Mont Saint-Michel

We decided to make the trip to Mont-Saint-Michel today, in 29°C and sunny weather. 
Long drive, many tourists, we were sweaty and "hangry" after walking through the abbey and eating at a restaurant inside the village...but it had to be done, right? 

Extra photos added, although the tidal bay and wide sandbanks were the most charming feature of this destination, in my opinion.
