At the Heather

A cold journey with all windows open in car to keep bees cool.

Arrived at 1.00am eco son helped get hives out of car and out in the yard.

Up at 6, bees lively but still enterance closed.

Loaded up and taken to site.

Pallets down fence posts in to secure and hives placed.

Opened up to inquisitive bees. I lay in glorious sunshine just watching the orientation flights and finally pollen coming in.

Walked back off hill to my car. Tea and relax before heading south.

A stop in Aberfeldy to buy a book and chat hills.

Hot journey home.

Quiet time staying in tge shade.

Dog walk awaits.
