Welcome home

The shop reached 33 degrees today, it was a hot hard slog but we managed to stick it out. Someone came round with ice creams mid afternoon which were gratefully received.
The best sight of the day was my new highland cow doormat which welcomed us home to the slightly cooler house. We had a beer in the garden, then I had a pile of ironing to do which just couldn’t wait any longer.
The bedroom temperature is still 28 degrees at 10.30. Unbearable.
