nowness

A word that welcomes 'the here', 'the now'. With the change in leadership at my university, I am faced with the reality of nowness. What changes can I make to further my understanding of the metropolis as it stands today? At a very young age, I was taught that preparation and planning were the upmost way to succeed. But now, the spontaneity of 'nowness' reminds us that sometimes your only option is to roll with the punches. Act in the moment. Never before have I been so eager to experience the nowness of IIT, Chicago and most importantly my role in it all.
