Liverpool skyline

A day in Liverpool to visit Martyn in hospital. We woke really early so intended to go to the docks area. Got in the wrong lane so ended up going through a tunnel under the Mersey. We made the most of Birkenhead with walk by the Mersey and walk in the lovely park. Between visits to Martyn in the morning and evening, we did get to the Docks. Albert dock was impressive but it was too hot to walk as far as we would have normally
