A Beginning

I slept later than I have in months today- the release after yesterday. Even so everyone else in the house in still asleep. It is another beautiful day here and I’m enjoying the peace of the garden (despise occasionally getting watered by next door’s sprinkler).

We left the crematorium yesterday to A Beginning Song by The Decemberists one of Folkie’s favourite bands. So I’ve been thinking about how today is a beginning. It would have been been our two month wedding anniversary or monthiversary as she would have said. I am so grateful that we got married and for the amazing day we had. Today I’m starting to work out what a life without Folkie’s physical presence looks like while carrying her always with me and trying to be more Folkie.
