Favourites

The morning was the last Art class I am teaching this year. That went very quickly!  All was well, lots of parents came for the final exhibition 'show and tell' event and I think all were content. I said my goodbyes to those I won't see again (that is, until next year, hopefully), and headed back to the apartment around 13.45.

By 15.15 I was at Arnavutkoy ferry station with Celeste (who arrived on Wednesday) and Pinto (also recently arrived) and the three of us took the ferry to Besiktas - our destination, at my request and planning, being Joker 19, my ab fav bar in Besiktas - or anywhere else really.  I hadn't finished my first beer when others arrived - Sean, Andrew, Jeffrey and Valerie.  Very happy to see that the resident dog is still there and that his comfort takes priority! (extra - note the sign!).  The seven of us proceeded to eat, drink and be very merry until it was time for the 20.35 ferry back to Arnavutkoy (when I took today's evening shot of Ortakoy shorel line - one of my fav Istanbul views!). 

Lovely to spend a leisurely few hours in one of my favourite places with some of my favourite people.
