REMEMBER THIS!

Hello Lovely Blippers,

We were out in the garden early today in the shade before the sun reaches this part of the garden, because we know it is going to be another scorcher and if we waited until later, that would be really silly because it will be too hot then!  We think that dear Admirer would be proud of us for taking care and looking out for one another.

When Leighton asked if we would like him to read us a story, of course, we said we would, so we all gathered round him, on the seat, in the shade and he found this lovely book entitled “You are Special” by Max Lucado - and we want you all to remember that YOU, TOO, are SPECIAL!  If you have children or grandchildren, we do recommend this book.

Mr. HCB has gone out with a group of men from their Church and they are walking through some woods and then back to a pub called The Kingsdown for lunch together - there are about 17 of them - and we hope they have a great time together.  Mrs. HCB made sure that Mr. HCB had his hat and his suncream - factor 50 - but he assured us all that there would be lots of shade under the trees.  

We hope you have all managed to stay cool in this ridiculously hot weather - the third heatwave so far this year, so we are told and to go out in the midday sun would be really SILLY - so we are now indoors, in the cool, with Mrs HCB and we are drinking lots of water.

Don’t forget to BE KIND - and look out for others, especially those who are older - but apparently, that includes people, according to the weather warnings, above the age of 55!!
