The silly weather continues...

...but we have poppies in the garden at last...
...thought I'd better grab them while I could, as they don't last long in the heat...

This is the new wild flower area at the top of the garden, which has replaced the veg plot that was so disappointing last year! 
We won't go short of veg - Graham has already passed us on some potatoes and a cabbage ;)

We haven't had a lot of luck with poppies til now - and even these have taken a long time to make an appearance!

At least the hot weather gives me an excuse to watch the tennis from Wimbledon ;) 
Men's doubles final just finished - how fast are those rallies??
