Life from city to village

Split

Today we were supposed to be kayaking around the peninsula but following the tremendous storm earlier in the week - which hit Split worse, the boats were too damaged and we couldn’t go. So instead we climbed the bell tower in Diocletians palace, then walked up to look at the Archaeological museum, which had a fascinating exhibition on a necropolis found on Corkula. The Marfan hills park was also closed due to the number of trees affected but we walked up to the cafe where we took this shot.
