A chicken and their wheelbarrow

Spotted on a road trip to Felixstowe for Simon and Ellen’s official engagement party. Vikki car shared with Martin and I. We stopped off at a garden centre for a comfort break. Opposite was a farm shop and animal trail which appealed to all of us. We saw donkeys, miniature goats, pigs and a barn owl.

My ex-husband (Vikki and Simon’s dad) was already at the hotel. He and Vikki had a catch up while Martin and I had a cuppa in our room. Simon met us for a walk along the seafront. It’s nice seeing my ex for a happy occasion rather than family funerals.

We’re having a little rest before meeting the rest of Ellen’s family and friends for a meal this evening. We have already met her parents on their visit to Hastings.
