Red Arrows Day
Saturdays are meant to be silly aren't they, at least in the blipfoto world.
So, I had a tip off this morning that the Red Arrows would be flying over Cirencester soon. I looked at the flight route and saw they would be some way off Northleach, but nevertheless got the camera set up and sat on the patio waiting. Blow me down, at bang on the expected time they flew right overhead. They were really loud but I only got the noise as they were above us. So I didn't quite get the photo I wanted, by some margin. It had to be my blip though, maybe so I can look back in 7 years time and remember. Just like I can today by checking back to 2018!
They were supposed to return this afternoon so despite the heat I set off to find a better vantage point where I could get a good advance look at the sky. Of course they didn't appear. That was a bit silly too, just standing in the middle of a field for 30 minutes. Luckily there was no one else about.
Otherwise a quiet day. I've been updating camera club events listings. I do find WordPress rather frustrating. I've been watching Ballard too, I wish Bosch featured a bit more. I had to order some of his dishwasher cleaner today, but that might be a different Bosch.
