Little barns
The morning starts off feeling fresh but by the end of the day it is hot. Somehow 20C here feels much warmer than 20C at home in the UK, possibly because there is no wind here.
After breakfast and morning coffees at home we set off for a walk - all the walks here are well known to us yet each year they seem a bit different, as we notice subtle changes in vegetation or new developments. I liked this view looking back at the village with all the little barns on the side of the mountain - in the extras you can see the view looking the other way on to the glacier.
We had a light lunch in the village and then it was nearly time to collect our friends from the station. They dropped their bags at the apartment and then we went for another walk along the river and all over the village. They have been here in autumn before but never seen it in summer.
I made a chilli this morning in readiness for supper tonight, I am just about to prepare the starters and then we will relax over supper.
