Expecting another day spent avoiding the sun, I thought I'd get the photo done early by carrying on along the Promenade after collecting the paper. Number 5 sits on its own just along from the war memorial with only a tub of flowers for company. That just leaves the big one at Lord Elgin's place, assuming it still exists. Can't imagine his Lordship hasn't switched to email by now. Can't imagine he needs his own postbox though he seems to have his own postcode.

That was it. A short shift in the garage connecting a temperature controller to the smoker and checking it worked before retreating to the house to do some tidying in the little cave at the back. A place where the sun never shines.
