Crowns Engine Houses, Botallack Mine

A classic shot of the engine houses, taken as I descended from the coastal path.

I had a fantastic day - taking the train to Penzance, then the bus to Pendeen and walking along the coastal path from there to Geevor, Levant and Bottallack. I intended to walk back across the moorland, but was put off by the glaring sun and heat. High ferns and a warning of adders didn't help.
