SMALL COPPER

There were plenty of butterflies in the local valley gardens but this was my first small copper of this year, and possibly last year as well. I'd gone for a walk to try to wake myself up a bit. It wasn't over-hot today - a bit of low cloud blown in from the sea on the easterly wind this morning cooled everything down by a few degrees - but I felt very sluggish until I went out this afternoon.
