dreaming of the beach

I woke up feeling slightly dodgy. I tidied my desk and attempted to record another screencast. The screencast failed. In the afternoon I took the train East to checkout the recently completed but not yet opened extension of the city motorway (see extra). It's quite crazy: we know we need to reduce motor traffic and that extra roads just create more traffic. Still here we go more motorway while existing motorway bridges crumble. I enjoyed a walk through Treptower Park, past the Soviet War Memorial and across the river to the Ostkreuz. The fresh air helped.
