Another Scorcher

Went down the town early just me as S waited in for the boiler guy, Gary, coming to fix it. But he has to come back as it needs another part.

Got the bus back home as when walkigg bc past the bus stop one appeared and figured better than walking in that heat.

There was a wind today so instead of sitting about we washed the two front windows downstairs and the door. They were covered in dust!

Evening walk and sitting watching Live Aid 40 and reminiscing about what I did that day. Had a little party in the afternoon watching it and then Went out and saw a lot more of it in the Windsor down town. Also watching the acts and remembering having seen lots of them live back in the day as many of the performers are about my age…. Special moments from Wembley , how Freddie had the crowd in the palm of his hand. David Bowie - Heroes ….

I also remember meeting a lad from Glasgow that night and I’m thinking what he is doing now.

It was a great day, it’s nice remembering - hard to imagine 40 years on. My daughter was only 2!
